Join the Guild

Great! So you've decided to support the organisation that supports you! So how do you do it? Easy! All you need to do is select 'yes' to Guild Membership (which is free) and 'yes' to paying the voluntary A&S Fee. The UWA Amenities and Services Fee (ASF) is a voluntary charge payable by students who choose to have access to the amenities and services which are funded by the fee. These include a range of recreational, sporting and educational facilities together with social events and representation services. The UWA Student Guild and the UWA Sports & Recreation Association provides these services for the direct benefit of students at UWA. For more info on the fee for 2008 please visit the University website HERE.

How to Join & Activate Your Guild Membership

You can select your options while going through your online enrolment process or DOWNLOAD THE NEW A&S ACCESS FORM HERE, fill it out and bring it to the Student Centre in the Guild Village. If you bring it into the Guild you can activate your membership at the same time. Your Guild membership must be activated so you can receive your Guild Diary, Guild Discount Booklet, and Guild Sticker. Your Guild Sticker gets you discounts on and off campus, special entry to events, and other Guild Benefits. Once you have submitted your form, the University will invoice you according to your student enrolment status, be it full or part time.

How much is the A&S Fee?

Students studying at the Crawley campus who choose to have access to the amenities and services encompassed by the fee will be charged at the following rates:
  • Full-time students studying on-campus at Crawley: $60 per semester
  • Part-time students studying on-campus at Crawley: $30 per semester
There are adjusted fees for all other students - please see link below. Students who join in semester 1 will automatically be a Guild member for then entire year and will be sent an invoice at the beginning of semesters 1 & 2. A lesser fee is payable by students studying off-campus, through a regional centre or overseas. For more details go to: http://www.studentadmin.uwa.edu.au/page/16712
