Your Guild Your VoiceOne of the Guilds key objectives is to represent the interests of UWA students to the University
and wider community. The Guild puts forward the student voice on issues such as HECS increases
& Centrelink benefits while providing a student perspective on more general political and
social issues.
Guild ActivitiesThe Guild also organises a
range of fun activities to give students a break from their studies, some of our most popular
activities include; O-Day, PROSH, National Campus Band Competition, End of Semester Show, Market Daze,
weekly entertainment in the Tav, and more!
Student Publications
The UWA Student Guild produces a number of publications designed to inform and entertain
students at UWA. From the UWA Student Newspaper, Pelican to the various departmental and
faculty handbooks that provide you with an inside look at how to get the most out of your
time at Uni. Lets not forget about the legendary PROSH paper, produced by Guild members
and sold on the streets of Perth in April each year to raise money for charities selected
by the Guild. And of course, as every Guild member knows, the UWA Student Diary is
distributed free to all those students that join the Guild each year. Lastly, as a Guild
member you will receive the weekly e-newsletter called G-news which lets you know whats
up on campus, with the clubs, and you get a shot to win free prizes every week!
Guild Welfare & SupportThe Guild provides a range of services to support students
at UWA. These services are all conveniently located in the Guild Student Centre which is
your first point of contact with the Guild. In addition to being the reception point of
